DFI NF4 Sudden Death Syndrome?

Recommended Posts

Well, for me, threads like that don't scare me. When I bought my board, I did so with the firm belief that DFI would stand behind their product (provided it wasn't my actions to cause demise of the board). I'm sorry for that guys troubles, and I haven't a single doubt in my mind that DFI will take care of him.

Mines an A02. Thats the newest Rev I have heard of. Of course there could be newer. I haven't had any issues and have run mine about 10 hours so far. I'll keep my fingers crossed these are isolated incidents. It does appear this has happend to a few people now (on that thread). I wonder if it is just a dead bios? My bios has been quirky, sometimes it will lock up at the boot screen. Usually a reboot will go through though. Thats the only quirk I have seen with this board.

Whats your specs ^R3CoN and what happened?

My specs:

AMD 3200+ Winnchester

512 DDR PC 3200 Corsair XMS Pro

( just a pci vga card, waiting on my new grahpic cards)

I've had put a little bit more voltage on my chipset, 3,3 v on my mem and 1,5 on my cpu. And got an overclock of 9 x 310 mhz :)

Maybe i've pushed my chipset voltage to far.
