we make all 4 motherboards on the same pcb and bios design. They all use the same basic chipset (one supports SLI, the other does not).

 

this helps us keep costs down, and helps maximize support for all 4 boards as they all utilize the same bios, board design, and components.

 

one chipset (Ultra-D/Ultra-DR) simply does not support SLI while the other (SLI-D/SLI-DR) does.
