Colin G Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 I have upgraded my system to the following: Abit AT7-MAX2 motherboard AMD Athlon "Barton" XP2500+ 333FSB processor Twinmos 512mb DDR400 PC3200 Leadtek Winfast A280LE TDH MyVIVO GeForce4 Ti4200 128mb DDR graphics card Seagate Barracuda V60GB ATA100 hard drive I am still using Windows 98SE but have downloaded the latest BIOS (AT72DD) and drivers. The system boots into Windows OK and everything works well. However: The memory is only being recognised as DDR333. When I enter the Bios settings and then exit (even if no changes have been made and I exit without saving), the monitor goes into standby mode and the system hangs. When I try and restart from Windows the same thing happens. I then have to switch off the power and wait a while. When I switch the power back on the system will then boot into Windows OK. I would appreciate any advice. Colin.

Colin G Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Tried that but made no difference. I'm using the optimized settings apart from changing the AGP aperture size to 256.
