elrilmatheren Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Hi, I have problem running a game using 2 x Leadtek 6600GT with Forceware 67.66 International driver. The game is not SLI supported, the errors are shown attached and sample screenshots are taken. As shown in the screenshots, the bottom of of the display is having a problem. May I know how to rectify this problem? Does anyone have this problem too? I'm using Athlon 64 3500+ on a DFI nf4 SLI DR (with latest nforce drivers and bios), 512 MB pc 3200. cpuz Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Are you overclocking the video card at all? Also, I'm using 71.25 drivers. They seem to work great! If you like, you can download them from guru3d.
elrilmatheren Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I have not overclocked any items yet. I was just testing them at stock settings before I do it.
elrilmatheren Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Oh by the way, are games without SLI support able to run on a SLI system? Is there an international version of the above drivers?

The support is in the hardware and drivers. Applications(like games) won't know the difference when run on an SLI system. Don't know about international support in the Beta drivers. edit for spelling error
cpuz Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 In the properites of your Nvidia Settings...Do you have "show gpu load balancing" checked in the bottom 2 attachments that you've posted? Did you enable "SLI multi gpu rendering" under performance & quality settings? You need to check the "advanced" box in order to see it. W/ two cards it should be set to multi. Try beta 71.25 drivers from guru3d, I've had very good luck w/ them.

I've just downloaded the drivers, hopefully that it does not have any problems. Oh and its international language support. elrilmatheren Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Ok, I've tested the drivers. Running Counterstrike Source for about 10 mins the pc hang. Running ROSE Online for about 5 mins, the screen in the below attachment appears. As can be seen, the bottom half of the screen is having problems. Don't know about international support in the Beta drivers. There are several games that have had problems with current SLI driver implementation. Counter-Strike:Source has a couple of areas that cause problems with the default SLI settings in the driver. Here's a link to a tool that can help you sort out compatibility problems... http://www.guru3d.com/news.html#2329
cpuz Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Have you tried any other games like HL2 or Far Cry or Doom3 that are known to work w/ sli? Have you tried to run any benchmarks like 3dmark 01, 03 , 05? I believe I read that there are programs floating around that help older games or non-sli games to run in sli mode.
