[Resolved] Installation on SLK 948U ?

I got my heatsink guys ready to roll.Stupid question,the yellow bracket on the nf3 do i take off the whole thing?Front and back then put the slk on with the neo back plate?

Because the directions say remove amd athlon 64 FX original RM bracket that came with motherboard.Is this for the 64FX only or for the 64 also?

Completely remove the original retention bracket and backplate. Use only the neo backplate provided by Thermalright for bolt-down installation. The SLK-948u can also be installed using its supplied retention bracket and spring clips, but in this config use the original mobo backplate (this type of installation should only be used on CPUs with an IHS).

I got it i think the retention brack that came with the slk948 meaning the black squar thing around the heatsink itself right?

if you want some video instructions. (found this while searching for slk reviews) yeah the guys is annoying but it may help.

me, i had no problems wiht the install. just follow and reread the directions. they are pretty thorough.
