Velvet45 Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Stupid noob question here but how do you release the mechanism that locks the AGP card on the nF3 250 mobo? I can rock the card back and forth but the card acts like something in the locking mechanism is preventing removal. I cannot see any way to release anything there. Help! WarriorOfStorms Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 First, Discharge the static electricity from you body by touching the power supply while the plug is in the wall and the switch on it is on but the pc is shutdown. Next, lay the pc down on its side so you can see better. Finally, reach between the chipset heatsink on the board and the row of AGP and PCI slots from the bottom of the video card and push the locking tab forward toward the memory slots. This will release the card and you can pull it up out of the slot. Thankz, Take Carez and Laterz, WarriorOfStorms
