Pivo504 Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 I have adata 4000 ram with red heatspreaders. I have 2X512 and I have not been able to have a stable system for longer than a month. I used to have my system OCed to 2.5 but that was when I first got it b4 all my problems started. I have a DTR 3200+ A64 with a DFI ultra NF3 board. I would get BSOD's and random freezes. The rest is Hitachi 2X80 gig drives Sata, 6800 GT OC, Ultra Connect 500 Watt PSU, thermaltake Tsunami dream case front 120mm fan rear 120mm fan 90mm side fan. SLK 948 HS with 70 cfm fan on it. I also have the 10/15 by oskar BIOS on my mobo. I have run memtest overnite and passed with no errors. Run the large ftt prime test overnite no errors either. Run SuperPI with no errors, however all the tests described b4 were at stock everything. However, I have also run Prime95 OCed at 2.4 ghz and no errors in the past... I am not sure if its the ram or cpu. I have already sent back a DFI mobo since it wasnt working properly. Some people also claim that my Ultra Connect 500 watt doesnt work well with A64 mobos...I run my system at stock now and I got my first freeze after about 3 weeks of running perfectly stable. It would freeze for about 10 seconds then come back then freeze again until I rebooted. I do not know what is wrong. Any suggestions would be helpful. Angry_Games Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 please check the rules and the Important Info threads stuck to the top of this section, paying close attention to the second post in teh 'critical' thread (about system specs in your sig). this helps us tremendously to help you solve your issue if we can see what is in your system every time you post. Be as thorough as possible please. Voltages, timings, settings, bios version. Pivo504 Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Sorry guys. Voltage is at 1.65-1.7 when OCed, Vdimm about 2.8 when I OC, timings are usually at auto since my ram isnt that great. Bios version is 10/15 oskar. Im at stock right now due to all the crashes etc. I dont fool with the other settings in BIOS but keep them at stock b/c I am unsure of what they do.
