cgbben1 Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I am having some problems flashing and loading bioses. Ok here is what happens: Downloaded the latests bios from DFI. loaded it onto my floppy dist and half way between the writting it said "Diskerror on track 62,head 0. error in reading." No big deal i just thought my floppy drive is messed up. I tried the same thing but on a different computer. SAME ERROR. Now i am starting to get frusterated. I decided to find a different bios. Found one that will load onto the floppy disk however when i re-booted it said Read Error. What should i do??????? Check out more of my problems with the post named "WTF SLOW" Why am i having so many problems. Thanks, B-gone, Ha i wish Blaine
cpuz Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 why not try using the winflash utility that came w/ the cd. It is a nice program and you can flash right from windows. Works nicely and very reliable.

David Stewart Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Yep. Winflash works well. Easy to use and never had a bad flash with it. No need to make things any more complicated than necessary DS
cgbben1 Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Ok ried winflash and it said the bios dosen't match the mainboard size. AHHHGHHHH!
David Stewart Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Get the 10/15 Bios HERE . You will have to extract via Winzip etc. When you run Winflash just goto file menu and load the .BIN file and follow the instructions.
