Well, your Prime95 scores are similar to mine. Mine are only marginally faster and I'm running at 2.55 Ghz. Don't know what your friends have so it's kinda hard to get a comparison. I wouldn't get to bent out of shape about it. In real-world performance and gaming, I doubt you are getting outperformed badly by those same systems you are comparing to. I am not very sure how memory intensive Prime95 benchmarks are, I would assume very memory intesive. The problem may not be with your cpu and "system"...it may be your memory is running under par.

no offence bu that is the exact opposite that 3d mark told me. It said to consider getting a ne proseccer to keep up w/my memory.

If you want to do some of my benchmarks go to majorgeeks. and thry have all of them free of charge!

Thanks,

Blaine

my cpu is at a low 2309.8. Afarid to oc my ram b/c had alot of trouble with it before. Any sugestted timings for a med. oc!

You had problems with overclocking your memory before, and 3dMark says that your memory is great and you cpu sucks? I don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something here?
