TCCD or Crucial?

In the next little while, I'm looking to get some new RAM. I'm trying to decide between:

CORSAIR CMX512-3200XLPT PC3200 512MB 2-2-2-5 - $199.50CDN

and

CRUCIAL BALLISTIX PC3200 512MB DDR400 CL2-2-2-6 - $169.05CDN

As far as I know, the Corsair stick uses TCCD chips. If they were the same price, I would probably buy the Corsair stick, but I can get the Ballistix for $30 less. From what I've seen the Ballistix memory can post some pretty TCCD'ish numbers, so I'm kind of leaning towards it right now. Any thoughts?

im using the old tccd corsair, but the new ones (v1.2) should fare much better. if was to pick between the two, i would go corsair for two reasons:

1. yes, the corsair use the new samsung tccd, crucial uses micron chips or something, and

2. as far as know, the crucial are not tested as matched sets like corsair if you get a 2x set.

p.s. definately call and make sure youre getting the v1.2 if you go corsair
