Is My Power Supply Big Enough

I had a 400watt. power supply. but it broke and when they replaced it thay only put in a 300 watt. do you think this is enough or should I go buy a new one.

i would recommend an upgrade. but it really all depends on what your setup is and do you have any extra lights or anything like that but for the price of a better ps i would probably upgrade at least a 450

It's just a thought but I'd upgrade for sure. 500 or better. I just put a power and cooling 510atx in mine with external pots, it's great!!!! OK so it's 300 big ones, but what else are we going to do with our money?? I put a post undr Prometia hotrod... It has the link to the 510W PC system..

300 big ones could buy me a 2500+ barton, epox 8rda+, and 2 sticks of 256mb corsair xms pc3200, all that for the price of ONE power supply

you have 300w that should be fine unless you are going to turn your case into a lighshow

unless you have 4 hard drives, and OC proc, OC ram, 2cd, and i don't know what else 300w will be fine for now. everyone on these boards is excessive with what they think is right, but just ask what do you need. why would you need a 400 or 500 watt powersuply? seroiously.

Don't but what you don't need,
