hiph0pan0nym0usx Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 - if u want to overclock i would go oem, and get a better hsf. but if ur not sure, get a warrenty on the cpu. - i ould oc as far as i could without burning up your cpu. i wouldnt go too far past 45 degrees. Ziggy54354 Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 not related to the topic, but i think you should know, the ram that buyxg sells from geil is actually the non-ultra version. People have already been getting scammed by them. That's y it's so cheap.

Muninn Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 - i ould oc as far as i could without burning up your cpu. i wouldnt go too far past 45 degrees. I am charging myself on a holy crusade to tell everyone on this board that ANYTHING UNDER 60c IS AN ACCEPTABLE TEMP FOR AN AMD your not going to hurt your procesor at that temp and even if it shortens the lifespan you will have upgraded long before the proc dies still a bad day Muninn
