That's not much faster than a quill pen on papyrus! lol

My 5400rpm samsung on my other computer. I hate waiting for windows to startup

And it's louder than both my 36gb raptor and 74gb raptor combined!

LMAO thanks for the perspective, travis! great CPU utilization, tho! :shake:

why isn't winblows on one of your raptors?

I have x64 on my 36gb and xp on my 74gb both in the computer on my sig, yes and great cpu utilization lol it made me laugh when I saw it, that hard drive is so slow it has no effect on the cpu :shake: .

Oh and it's Trevor not Travis, I hate it when people call me Travis  .

I followed the results edited in this thread which drove me to choose 4 Hitachi SATA II that I installed in RAID 0, instead of 2x74 GB Raptor 10000 rpm and I am very satisfied : my results are below.

What is your opinion ?

Change your settings from Overlap to Neither and total length to 32MB. That will keep your score consistant with the rest of results on here.

Wow beats my Samsung by 7.2 times in average read speed, but you can't beat my cpu utilization! :shake:

And btw you should use Alt+Print Screen to capture only the window in focus ;) .
