reject Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 hmmm ok then. hope i didnt try to install too many times. we are all thinking alike here, i was going to go get another hd today. i think its better to replace hd first cause i need the extra space anywqay. then if it is the sata controller i can rma mobo. i only think its the board bcause tghe problem started happening when i moved the board out of my case and back i will set up windows and copy my data and if that goes ok i will run tests on the drive. if i have t rma it then at least i can set up a raid thanks guys Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
reject Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 i got a new hd its a samsung P80 160gb it formats, gets to 100% and either freezes or says that the partition is damaged i made a 4.5gb partition for windows the drive is perfectly clean it could only be the board is buggered am i right?
