NF3+ATI+Online gaming=blows

you cant load the NV chipset drivers without dx9.0c (you can i suppose...but nv chipset drivers as well as the new ati drivers require it)

 

try to make sure you have only the 9800 plugged into the psu line (ie: you can run other items off that same power cable, but little things like floppy drive or a couple low-end fans etc)

 

2k isn't the greatest OS for gaming setups but shouldn't be a problem. some 9800's seem to be problematic on the NF3 chipset for some reason (no rhyme or reason tho...)
