Highest Achievable FSB w/Mobile Athlon and Dfi NF2 Ultra Infinity?

Recommended Posts

I run mine daily at this...

AMD XP-M 2600 233x11 = 2570 GHz---466 FSB

IQYHA RPMW 0352

DFI Landparty Ultra B (6-19)

I've had it up to 2680MHz. stable ? Hot yes.

My board craps out about 235fsb. Perhaps i could do better with a mod or two.

DFI-Blues:

I would look to your RAM try something spicy like 3.3V and hooker loose timings like 11-4-4-3 CPC off you could probably pull off 250 though your performance may not be as good.

hmmm from what i can see at 250FSB default chip voltage those chips get an easy 40C idle, but damn just 2 stock amd 60MM fans fixes that, every easily brings them back down to a enjoyable 30-32C

but like i said, im cooling everything with a fan that i can possiblely cool now, just waiting for my bios to come back, hopefuly monday, and i added another fan to my psu so that i can get more power from that sad diablotek, which is ulta or powmax, renamed, thing wieghts probally 1.2 pounds and is rated at 550W lmfao, yeh maybe if i put it inside my freezer

But the question was - what's the

Highest Achievable FSB w/Mobile Athlon and Dfi NF2 Ultra Infinity?

like to see some 270fsb shots GDogg. and hear how it performs. Maybe SAE an help, thought one of his sistas was in the 267-272 range (with a big multi of course)

This UI ca do 255x10, but I like 253x10.5 even more.

@Katch - that is pronounced Sixty eight thousand four hundred an thirty two lebenty seben

ive only been able to achive high fsb with lower multi, but i think its was lack of power ,im hoping the xtra cooling will give me more power,

when i get back my bios, ill test some more a bit

i cant do 250X10 with chipset voltage at 1.6 and cpu volatage at 1.7, so its not like im maxing out anything yet

ill be sure to post some shots

ive also notice in mem banwich in clibench i got an xtra 1000 point with the new bios' compared to 1/21

which i was not willing to use, but now that i know howto fix this, it is gonna be a definate must

my ram also says in stats that is not able to do command per clock, but having it enabled still works, does this mean its running at 1T or is it gonna just use 2T no matter what

i need 1.9vdd to maintan 250 fsb... other than dat will fail prime blend test... keep wonderin why some ppl only need 1.7-1.8 for 250 stability..

& wat dis vdd really do in ocin???

& my ram pass 255 fsb on memtest but always keep feezin of xp... thinkin dats might be have some prob when sata runnin above 250 fsb... or issit just me... anyone???

well im not using sata so in not sure about that

i know when i have tried 255 in the past with the X10 multi it will freeze too

even though my memory can handle 300 w/o any more volts

i will be trying the audio fix, lan dropout fix which some have said have might give you a few more Mhz, but i dont see how or why

i know if your at 1.9 your probally at the max your cpu can handle w/o starting to corrupt the calculations.

i hope this helps a bit,

sometimes the best thing to do , is to try lower volts on the cpu and hight on the chipsets like 1.7 chip and 1.75 cpu or 1.8 cpu

This seemed as good as post as any to ask in, so giving this a shot.

I'm currently running regular XP2500 333fsb. The ram is already running at 400fsb. I've been reading the posts about using the mobile cpu, and although right now I'm not concerned with hitting the top fsb speeds listed on this post, I just wanted to ask: Is there anything I need to know before buying say the mobile 2600 to stick on this board to achieve at least 400fsb?

I can always search other posts as to overclocking it, or post back here, whatever. Just need to know, if anything, what I need to consider when buying the actual chip. The cooler I'm using on the xp2500 now is a volcano 12.

Thanks in advance.
