SpeedFan

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I know I am a noob here...but can anyone tell me what the different names in Speedfan mean? I have a temp 1,2,3,etc. and I believe that the Temp 1 is my CPU, but I am not sure about the rest. I have the UT NF3 board if that helps. I will update my sig soon. Thanks for all your help.

Don't forget you sig...

Reference by Smartguardian and manual book page 4

CPU speed fan (temp1) = cpu fan

PWM speed fan(temp2) = chassis fan

system speed fan(temp3) = 2nd fan

He was asking for the temps, not the fans decptt ;)

Temp1 = CPU diode, usually fast response when you put load on the CPU.

Temp2 = Socket measurement (under the CPU), slow response compared to temp1.

Temp3 = System, shouldn't change too much unless you get new casefans etc.

They're all transmitting on IT8712F. Any measurement on LM75 can be disregarded.
