FDM Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 try 1.95 vcore, 3.3 vdimm, 1.6vagp, 1.9chipset (or 1.8, cant remeber if dfi goes to 1.9), for alpha timings try 1-3-3-3-3-3-4, how are you cooling it?
FlyingHamster Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 holy crap nice setup u got there I have an SP-97 w/ smart fan II, and as a reference, at 1.975vcore set in bios, I get about 43-45 C at full load.
FDM Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 sounds like it should be fine... are you sure the gpu isnt overheating and causing the lockup? I was having that problem when I would game for a long time using air cooling. edit: it reboots... hmm.

litahime Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 I read somewhere that that half multipliers are slower than the whole ones. i.e. 10.5 is slower than 10 maybe someone can confirm this.
FlyingHamster Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 so ur saying that 10x250 is faster than 250x10.5? if so, then Im afraid youve been mistaken. I can tell by 3dmark, gaming, etc.
gdogg Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 i cant get my mobile 2500+ to boot windows at 255X10 nor 250X10.5 i have to use 250X10 i know my memory can handle it, but i think you like me could just be at your cpus max point btw im at 1.7V which in this case is damn good, (maybe i could get more then hehe) but i think its due to my cheap renamed powmax psu i added a new fan to exhaust from it (already got a 120MM intake and 80MM intake on it) have yet to test though getting a new case first that will house my 6 80MM 42CFM fans and could hold 9 but thats when the UPS guy comes

Black99RT Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 I believe 10.5 yeilds less then 1/2 of the increase from 10 to 11. Although if you can run 10 and 10.5 and not 11, obviously use 10.5 at a given fsb.
