I think it's about time to move to AMD 64 and since i have two Lanparty boards allready i will get the DFI NF3. However i have a huge Gainward 6800GT GS and I wonder if that fits in on the board without modification. I have noticed that for example ABIT motherboards have capacitors in it's way. Anybody have any knowledge about this?

You'll be fine.

I compared your pictures to the PNY 6800GT I have

mounted on my 250 UT.

The sacrafice you will have to make tho.... is the #1

PCI slot. That fan shield on the Gainward is going to

hang too far out over the 1st PCI slot.

Changing the sink on the chipset to a passive type will

require a low profile model also. But we find that not to

difficult.

How you like that Gainward?

Luck.

Hi Popcicle, thanks for your advice regarding that my Gainward will fit. About that Gainward card i must say it's very nice. It has a stock speed of 400 GPU, 1100 memory and u still have marigins to overclock. I use the card at 420, 1180 and it's rock solid. I will try to go higher but my bottleneck is the CPU so that is my main priority. What about your card? See ya around

I've got the non-GS Gainward 6800GT, and can confirm there's no problem with space unless you absolutely need PCI#1. The only thing that is a bit tight is the lower HD-rack, only an inch between the end of the card and the lower HD.
