BUYING: AMD64 3200+ CG (Clawhammer) 1Mb L2 Cache (754) DFI Lanparty nforce3 250Gb (754) Thermalright XP-120 + Decent fan (754) KEEPING: 2x512 XMS Corsair TwinX PC3200 XFX 6800 GT I also need a new PSU since my Antec blew itself out... I would love to have a modular PSU like the new Antect Neopower... Does anyone know another modular PSU that is good for overclocking. Thanks for any input. Samurai Jack Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I dont know about modular but the new OCZ powerstream is a powerful unit. SJ PS. I may know of one that is about $200.00 to $300.00, I will have to wait till Jess gets home because he was telling me about it. HermS Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I can vouch for the OCZ powerstreams, extremely stable voltages great build quality and the adjustable rails are a god send when coupled with the JSJ bios! 4v DDR voltage anyone!!! One drawback though... the fan is a green LED type very cheesy.
DeaDLocK Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Does the OCZ have sheeved cables or are they loose yellow black and red. I would love a modular because I can use what I need and have no left over cables that I need to tie up plus they all seem to be sheeved cables which looks better and is much better airflow. EDIT: Also do you what Wattage do you think??? I will only have these connected... 1x DVD R-RW 1x FDD 1x 6800 GT 1x HDD
