stowenrat Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 IS there anything to be gained by upping the agp frequency or volts? I have always left them at stock when overclocking.
Guest RoJo Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Upping the voltage, my make your card more stable while overclocking your system, but I don't think it will do anything for your vid cards overclock. And if you raise the agp frequency, it will give you more bandwidth via the agp port, but then you'll be pushing the rest of your system out of spec than you are now, with the overclock that you are already running. And you'll only see an improvment when you card runs out of it's own vid ram. And you don't want that to happen, trust me.
