stowenrat Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 This is a bit of a different problem from 'cheezies' in that I can't boot at 240. The memory is fine at that but if I set the fsb to 240 and save to cmos it doesn't post nevermind boot into Windows. I am using 1.8 chipset and 3.1 vdimm and 1.55+110% vcore which seems plenty for 240x10. It seems the mobo doesn't like 240 fsb. I am using the new bios with memtest in but it didn't work with the bios in my sig either.

stowenrat Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Cheers RoJo, not sure if buying a new chip counts as sorting it out, anywho...I have tried 240 at 10.5 which should put the ram on a ratio meaning the ram should be on about 230 got a post but no os. It does 235x11 but not 240x10 or 240x10.5 why oh why:confused:
Guest RoJo Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Do you have CPC on, if so, then that might be your problem.
