Trouble reaching 240 fsb

This is a bit of a different problem from 'cheezies' in that I can't boot at 240. The memory is fine at that but if I set the fsb to 240 and save to cmos it doesn't post nevermind boot into Windows. I am using 1.8 chipset and 3.1 vdimm and 1.55+110% vcore which seems plenty for 240x10.

It seems the mobo doesn't like 240 fsb.

I am using the new bios with memtest in but it didn't work with the bios in my sig either.

Cheers RoJo, not sure if buying a new chip counts as sorting it out, anywho...I have tried 240 at 10.5 which should put the ram on a ratio meaning the ram should be on about 230 got a post but no os. It does 235x11 but not 240x10 or 240x10.5 why oh why:confused:
