ISS Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 I tried flashing to the latest beta BIOS and my comp is no longer stable at 300MHz 1:1 2.5-4-10-3 1T With the older BIOS (the one that has the mobile/DTR fix) works fine. My config: mobile A64 2800 DFI Lan Party UT 2 x 256MB PDP 3200XL (using Samsung TCCD) in slot 1 and 3. 1 x 80GB Hitatchi 7K250 SATA in SATA connector 3. Power Colour x800 Pro vivo modded to XT PE TDK 8x DL DVDRW No PCI devices. Veridium 530W PSU Thats all I have. I believe the PSU is providing ample power to all my devices. Lith1um Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 I seem to have a bug with the 1.6v agp setting. check your vagp in the bios after rebooting. The 1.6vagp setting isnt applied after a reboot for me. (it still shows at set to 1.6v, but it applies 1.5v) powering down, then booting restores vagp to 1.6, but the next reboot puts it back at 1.5. This could cause some instability.

Uncle_Sam Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I experience the same problems but i think the whole time the new SATA Bios which gets flasht as well is the problem here. I lost one drive and dont now what the hell is going on.
