Setting up my new Lan PArty UT: Temp Issue?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just got my Lan PArty UT installed in the case and fired her up for the first time.

It's still running the default BIOS it shipped with (don't know the exact date).

Running an A64 3200+ Newcastle core. On my old board it ran 40C idle. Just went into the BIOS on first boot, and she's running at 60C. Don't think it's a mounting issue on my part, unless there are issues using a Venus 7+ on this board with the provided CPU fan bracket.

Is there a problem with temps in the first release BIOS?

Any insight or help would be welcome.

Yes the high temp readings is a bios issue, and it is only experience with the stock bios

theres several beta bios's, all of which should correct your improper temp readings
