TURK saying Hi !

New member just saying hi ya!

Been reading the posts practically all day now, superb site for DFI mobo owners, I'm actually in the process of setting mine up.

So far so good

If I get stuck, I'm pretty sure they'll be some one ready to help, but from what I've already read, most of the problems have already been ironed out.

Eventually I hope to be in the position, to also help 'Newbies' in this rewarding hobby.

Hi Turk, welcome to DFI-Street. What kind of system do you have? You should throw it in your sig for future reference, like me (and everyone else hehe).

If you ever need help overclocking, well, ask one of the toaster certified guys. I was at 250x10 but memtest #8 failed (grr...), time to tweak ram timings!

Than Poisonsnakks for your tip,

Actually, when I registered to be a member, I filled in all the details about the system I was building (thought I would have my system listed at bottom - like yours!) still, I'll figure that out later.

So glad to have found you guy's! I've 'Googled' for most of all my setup querries, still hadn't got very far, till I read some of these posts.

 Got my new box running!!!

Loads more to do.... here's what I got running at mo;-

DFI LanParty PRO875

P4 2.8E GHz - retail/inc HSF as provided by Intel (will buy better cooler soon)

Looks pretty good to me. Yeah first things first get it running stable then turn up the overclock knob. I am totally clueless with the Intel overclocking though so you may want to hit up the Intel forums and see what they have to say there.

Oh yeah if you want to make your sig smaller you can use 'bbcode' they call it, the tags are [ font=1 ] and [ /font ] but don't use the spaces after the [ and before the ]
