uwackme Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I saw this at Directron, looks like a nice cooler, will need to check it out. Directron Heatsink Let me know what you think. Since it clips on, would be good alternative to SP97 for anyone with tilted socket.
mrlobber Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 At least it looks a good one. But a comparison with SP-97 would be very helpful.

G_W Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Shuckers. Tried to make it so short you wouldn't notice it. Now you'll probably have to delete it. :shake: AMD XP Aircooling - Heatsink Roundup August 2004 ...doesn't include CL-P0006.

jess1313 Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Guys, here is you a review, I have SP97 & the heat sink from thermaltake. SP 97 just stomps this heatsink, the fins I dont think the fines are even soldiered to the base as mine are coming loose like they are clued maybe. The temps are atleast 5c higher than my SP 97. I have tried it on AXPs & a64s & I get the same results. No work. Maybe mine is faulty, well the SP 97 shure is not, and all fines are still attached.
