AlvoMod Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I have 2x256mb mushkin level II with bh5. And now i need more ram, so i thinking to buy 2x512mb.... but I dont know what memory will work fine on the lanparty. Mi choices are: Crucial ballistics ddr400 ocz platinum rev2 ocz EB3700 corsair XL also i can wait for the mushkin black lvl II rev2... and with the hellfire bios... like I read this bios es more friendly with the double sided memory sticks. please... any suggestions!! mrlobber Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 My order of preference: BH-5 if you can find and afford it OCZ EB PC3700 (OCZ PC4000 rev2 - you didn't name them, but I'd place them here) Crucial Ballistix Corsair XL = OCZ Platinum PC3200 = Mushkin LevelII v2 (all the same Samsung chips)

soundx98 Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 so how much you want to part with the Level IIs in your sig? I promise I'll give em a good home, but I can't promise I'll be gentle.
soulfly Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 If I'm not mistaken, the Crucial Ballistix 512MB modules are single sided because they're using 8x 64MB chips, which fits as single sided. Correct me if I'm wrong.
