Just wanted to get a feel of how many icons people like to have on their desktop, and what most peoples limit is. My limit is about two rows of icons or about 24 icons. Where as my grandma doesnt have enough space on her desktop for all of her icons!

He's probly using fluxbox like me :D

Under linux you dont get stuck w/ one window manager

like windows (unless you wanna d/l somethin like litestep

which runs really crappy...).

I chose 11-14 or somethin cause there arent that many

programs you need on you desktop.... its ok for a few

basic things you use all the time but once you start storing

regular files and programs ya never use then ya gotta

start shift+deleting...

personally I hate having 2 minimize everything and then look for an icon...

plus it doesnt look that cool.... I love how afterstep/window maker

use a side menu of box icons that come out w/ all your programs...

tryin 2 get it under fluxbox since I dont like how it minimizes programs...
