memory performance of DFI mobos contest!

Recommended Posts

Hey DFI owners and overclockers :D

I got a test for us to show-off the performance of the DFI mobos, to show me, what I could expect when I fix my Lanparty CMOS ;)

What about a simple test - memtest 3.1a. It at start check the ram speed.

Get it from there: http://www.memtest86.com/

( http://www.memtest86.com/memt31a.zip - bootable floppy)

( http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.1a.iso.zip - bootable cdrom )

My best score from my Epox 8RDA+ is:

Barton 3000+ 225x10 2-2-2-11 Mushkin BH-6 - 1662MB/sec :D

Beat that on 225x10!!! ...anyone dare? :P

...the DFI mobo seems slower with the 27/11 bios at least...

(IIRC I got about only 1600MB/sec at 235 (!) Mhz x 10...)

Maybe more recent bioses with more nice settings like:

11, 2, 2, 2, Cas2.0, 11, 15, E, E, F, ON, 5, 4, 6, 3, 3, 4, 5

...could get to this performance? :D

FSB to ram 1:1 recommended and CPC enabled as well!

Show yourself! :D

I get only 1625MB/sec

And it tought this is the recommended settings for BH-5/BH-6 memory sticks, hmmm, I have to try your settings now ;):D

Thanks for sharing! :P
