mxrider623 Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 video Capturing on a G4? video capture cards are the ones that you use to get like analog video onto your computer? I don't think they make any G4 ones. I know ATI has a small external one.

Borisw37 Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Yep, thats the kind of thing i was looking for. i know there are vide capture cards, that are separate from video cards, but i thought geting an all in one, would be cheeper. I am looking to upgrade by Geforece2 128mb and want a video capturing too.

Firestorm39 Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 I think I got an answer for you. The higher end GeForce 4 Cards (about half of the TI Series) support video-in. I personally have a MSI GeForce4 TI 4200 8X. Next to my friends FX 5900 Ultra. It has to be the best video card i have ever seen. The added bonus of Video in and out makes it well worth the 200 i paid. (Ya i coulda got it off of pricewatch but i didn't want to wait and the local store had one in stock ) Here's a link to the card i got. They do have some better ones but not by too much. Sweet Card If you do decide to get a GF4 TI i would suggest getting a retail box, as you can see it comes with a few extras. Have fun.
