After I put in my new Dfi lanparty 875p rev.b1(after the other board died from a bad winflash), I'm getting about 8 unknown devices under the usb section. So I reformatted and started new, however as soon as I updated the intel inf's same problem again. Any ideas?

Edit: No usb devices work now because of this. I plug them in one at a time nothing.:(

Okay after playing around some, it only occurs if I enable the usb 2.0 drivers. If I uninstall the enhanced controller, all the unknown usb devices disappear and the usb works. I need to get this fixed. I'm driving to a lan party 1300 miles away. Any ideas?

Well looks like it's a hardware defect on this board. I was able to pull the bios chip off the new board and place it in the old one. That solved the usb issue. Too bad I was sent a defective board from Newegg.

Yup, all updates were applied. It was some kind of usb defect on the board. But I was able to use the bios chip off the new board to bring the old one back to life. So it all came out in the end.
