mnkyboy Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Well after the quickest mobo RMA in history (1 day) I have another LP-B On my old one I had a Peeefoh cooler on the N/B. Excessive it was and crazy and best of all passive. Since then I have heard that the standard cooler is OK and really doesnt need to be replaced on these things. I am from a school of thought that prescribes to the 'coolest is always the best' but Is it really worth the . around? Also consider I am in two minds with it all. Might convert my water to the n/b s/b gpu and ram (got an idea for a RAM waterblock) and get a vapochill. Meh such decisions suck
Angry_Games Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 its always up to user...i have never replaced NB cooler on any of my DFI boards and all of them (NF2 and Intel) do 230-250FSB and never get hot. the SB is the one you want to watch out for on the NF2
