Just thought I'd poke my head over here and say hi! Just found out about this site from Alexia, who I know from being a fellow staff member on another forum. At least I think it's Alexia, different user name, but same profile info :) Recently got my hands on a DFI LanParty NFII Ulta (Rev A) that I'm going to hook up with some Corsair PC3500 and an XP 2200+ (unlocked). Should be a sweet companion to my main rig, at least until I get a socket 939 board / CPU in a month or 2.

I saw your post about the "[Resolved]" idea. Over at another site I help out on the staff, they use the post icons (message icons in vB 2.x.x) for this. A user either selects "this thread is a question" or "this thread has been answered" or "none". When a thread has been answered, either the original poster or a staff member edits the original post to switch it to "this thread has been answered". The question post icon is a ? (duh) and the answered post icon is a ! . The thread title in a forum is preceded by "Unanswered question:" or Answered question:" although that isn't part of the title itself. It's a little unwieldly, but it works.

Anyway, the second thing is that you might want to check out www.theadminzone.com It's a site just for admins of forums to get advice, share tips, that kind of thing. I've found it to be a great resource. GL with the site!

Hey Alexia! :) What's up with this toaster stuff? Only time I've ever heard of a PC being called a toaster (aside from the obvious heat reference) was when Compaq release a legacy free PC about 5 years ago. Only USB and firewire, and it was short and purple and curved like a toaster... LMFFAO when I heard that this one guy tried to intall Linux on it! Note to all: Back then, there really wasn't much support for USB and firewire in Linux.

I remember those! :shake:

The Toaster is an award(DFI only!) for reaching 250fsb or 2.5ghz overclock. You have to prove it of course.
