Guest Citation4444 Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 I want to buy an 875B Rev B. Where can I buy one? I don't see them at my usual sites.
tblanning Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 Go Here Or Here Both are good sources to purchase from
Guest Citation4444 Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 The boards at both sites don't appear to be the Rev B version of the 875Pro B. There are no heatsinks on the right side of the board to the right of the cpu as there is on the Rev B boards.

Guest Citation4444 Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 Well, I might have to give Newegg a try. I would like to be assured I would get the Rev B, but maybe I'll take a chance.
Angry_Games Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 any place that deals in high volume like Newegg is going to have the B version as we haven't shipped A's for quite a while.
Guest Citation4444 Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 Thanks for the information. As you know, I've been using a LanParty 875Pro for quite some time. However, lately it's been giving me quite a lot of disk errors on one of my drives connect to the RAID controller. I've been getting an error message that says to the effect "Windows-Delayed Write Failed". It's always on my H: drive. I've checked the drive 6 ways from Sunday, and it's ok. I've also swapped drives around, and get the error message from whatever drive is connected to that channel of the RAID controller. I've changed the IDE cable, I've done a repair installation of XP Pro, and reinstalled the Highpoint driver, all to no avail. Do you have any guidance for me? This is the reason I've been asking about a new mb. I bought my 875Pro last September from NewEgg. Is it still in warranty?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. tblanning Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 this is from their website The LANParty series motherboards carry a 2 years warranty from the date show on your purchase invoice. If the motherboard is found to be out of warranty period, service charges may apply subject to owner’s do you have the agp/pci/sata clock locked and auto pci clock disabled
Angry_Games Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 you can RMA the board to Donna at the SJ office and she will get it replaced with another LPA 875 board. The boards do have a 2/3 year warranty (some are 2, others are 3). tb: Cit is one of the first overclockers to hit 290FSB on our P4 boards =) He's probably a better overclocker than me and Im no slouch. Guest Citation4444 Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 I am pretty sure I've solved my problem, and it looks like it isn't the motherboard after all. I haven't felt right about blaming the mb all along, but couldn't find another problem. After going over every program I've installed the past month, the problem baby turned out to be Alcohol 120%, which I had installed to make backup copies of my Mercedes' Navigation CD's. It worked for doing that, but it left installed a virtual CD SCSI controller. After uninstalling this program (and everything associated with it), all my errors have gone away. I'll try it for a couple of days to make sure, but it looks pretty certain my 875Pro (Version A) is just fine.
