excuse me ... WTF?!?!?! WineX is buggy?!?! ... let's see you make an app that can "emulate" windows enviroment so well that even a win32 virus does serious damage!!!

Sir, you are full of crap!

I believe it does...do the "sh setup.sh" command in a terminal.

To start the game type, farcry or sh farcry.sh.

Or you can create a farcry icon in the bottom tool bar of the desktop and click it to open and start the game. Thats usually how I choose to do it.

However, its good to know the commands when the need calls for it.

Most of these new games Farcry, BFV and UT2004 for the most are linux ready.

Meaning if they don't do something on their own when throwing in the disk/s, usually the "Sh" command will get the ball a rolling.

Linux ready doesn't mean its supported, what linux ready usually means the game/s should install and run, just not supported.

But hey, we linux users don't need their support just the game to install. We got and get all the support we need within the linux community. :)

Of course, theres that buggy software wineX or whatever its called one can choose to use. Some of these newer games reguire certain software to already be installed so there aren't any dependancies. Thats something to consider as well.

Heres a link to check out.
