Alexia Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 So I went to my local computer shop that opened recently... :cat: SCORE! I was talking to slavik and I knew the RAM had been hanging there for a couple months now. Here is what I scored: 2x KHX3500/256 1317778-024.A01 HyperX 1x KHX3000/512 1256075-023.A01 HyperX They should all be BH-5. Going to power down and test them out. Now only if I could test them out with me new mobile in the Infinity. (No video card! ) P.S. There one of the KHX3000/512 left. I bought the others.

Perhaps... still working out what this stick can do. I'm quite stable at 200x11, 6-2-2-2. Not scoring as well as my Buffalo at this speed though. More testing to come. Alexia Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Buffalo is still showing better bandwidth by a narrow margin. Going to push it up in speed later on.

Alexia Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Kingston KHX3000/512mbs - 11-3-3-3-2.5 250x9 CPC Enabled Test1: 3699/3316 Test2: 3697/3319 Test3: 3732/3359 Prime95: 2 minutes Kingston KHX3000/512mbs - 11-3-3-3-2.5 250x9 CPC Disabled Test1: 3624/3203 Test2: 3613/3205 Test3: 3624/3223 Prime95: Got bored after 30 minutes. Kingston KHX3000/512mbs - 11-3-3-3-3 250x9 CPC Disabled Hates CAS Latency of 3. So here is the thing. I can't get any benchmarks past 250 for either my Buffalo or Kingston sticks. I am starting to believe that the chipset and/or CPU itself won't go past 250 stable.

brewzer Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 I have KHX PC3200 2x256 and 250 is it for me too on my DFI UI, so far. I have done 9x250 and 9.5x250 at 11,3,3,3, 2.5 I will try to tighten those timings even further. At 3.3v the sticks barely get warm. My OCZ 512mb module gets pretty toasty at 3.3v
