Thank,s fore replie,

Let you all know what progress i make wen the goodies are finaly in my hand,s

Untill now i have a Abit th7ll with a 2,4/533 wich can only overlocked a dissapointing 200Mh altough it,s a C1stepping cpu.

On the other hand it,s stable as a system can be with defoults.

Btw. sorry fore my poor english.

An OCed 3400+ would smoke a P4 in almost anything ;)

Not true, P4 is better for encoding divx, ripping cds etc, and its much better for multitasking. AMD is a gamers chip, but the A64 blows out anything Intel has to throw at it.

also remember that most software is optimized for the P4/Intel architecture and more especially the SSE2 code that P4's use (they are, after all, the most popular cpu's in the world by a pretty large margin, regardless of what we amd fanboys like to think).
