juanflaiter Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 ok please DO NOT POST ANY ATHLON64 SCREENSHOTS because this is not the thread for them yet....I've got a couple of things happening...and if you guys are REALLY wanting an A64 toaster/blender/whatever, then you need to read this and help me out or it is never going to happen anytime soon: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8274 now i still have not finalized the specs, but it would be something close to this: http://www.angrygames.com/nf4-ultra/slidr-9a.jpg if you cannot read that, then see a slightly larger pic: http://www.angrygames.com/nf4-ultra/slidr-9.jpg anyway, its coming soon...but for now: THIS TOASTER SIG IS STILL ONLY FOR 32-BIT ATHLON XP CPU'S! sooooooon the A64's will get their own sigs/avatars... Piece of cake. Why dont you do it 260 2-2-2-5 for BH-5 guys and 300 for TCCD guys? That seems as dificult as 250mhz with a Tbred. Greets. Radical_53 Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Not really. Thing is, 300MHz only makes sense for those guys with 3000+ CPUs, as the way high HTT doesn't get you any performance on A64. For my example, I can merely see a difference between 250x11 and 275x10, still I'm running 275 as I can keep the same timings I use for 250. I also picked my RAM for quite high clocks BUT good latencies, not only for really high clocks alone. Doesn't make sense.
Angry_Games Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 260 2-2-2- is too easy with BH-5/UTT 300 is too easy for good TCCD dont worry though, it will be something challenging like it was for the NF2
king of nothing Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Amenadiel -- Here you go. The one that 'glows' is a little bit over the 50k sig limit.... but I thought I'd post it anyway. Let me know if you want anything changed.

MicroAMD Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 everytime i run prime95 i always get error randomly, first error was 10min, then 2nd attempt 1 hour, 3rd attempt 50 min, 4th attempt 30 min, then my last attempt was 4 hours. On SuperPI 32mb it works perfectly, run it 3 times without problem, Memtest89 Works fine. do you think its my PSU thats holding me up? on Bios, my PSU rail +12v=11.79v-11.82 v

soundx98 Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 I think both a Toaster and a new Slash Hat would be appropriate. @MicroAMD - have you tried just a tad more Vcore? loosening timings? GL
Xeon3D Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Erm... isn't there a way for Linux users to get a toaster as well? I can do 250x10 nicely, but I don't feel like installing Windows
