Prostock62 Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 RGone i read that you were looking for a shut down tweek,Try this one.Go into run and type regedit and DBL Click Hkey Local Machine then DBL click on system then DBL click on current control set then just click once on the control folder and to the right it opens up some services, right click on wait to kill services and select modify and change the value from 2000 to 200 click ok and close up all.Works great, fast shut down. Check out this guys page http://www.blackviper.com I have a lot of respect for this guys guide to Windows services, taught me everything I know. He also has a little app to allow you to create your own services reg file. Worth noting he'll be updating it soon for sp2 services
