What are you guys using to measure your temps on C2Ds? Ive got coretemp .99 and .94 as well as real temp 2.60. Real temp reports the lowest temps at 10C cooler than CT .99 (at around 56/53 for each core) The two core temps report different temperatures as well. One is in the low 60's and one is in the mid 60's. I'm not sure which one of these programs to trust? What does everyone else use?

I use core temp and real temp. I believe core temp is more accurate. Core temp shows my core duo around 7 degrees warmer then real temp.

Read through the Realtemp thread at XS (if you haven't already) and make up your own mind which you want to put your trust in.

As long as the TJ max is set right they should all read the same. I had to manually edit realtemp and set it at a TJMax of 100C as it was 5C difference from Core and Everest, now they are all the same.

I think the TJ max of the 8400 is 85C <----google that one cause im not sure.

Found one that says its 95C which realtemp defaults to for me and coretemp is always using the TJ Max for the 65nm for some reason.
