r3d c0m3t Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Is there a very big performance difference between Atx and MiniAtx? Very big? No. There is a noticeable difference between the two, but mATX is primarily meant for SFF systems (peace and quiet), you'll find the occasional mATX board with an overclocker-friendly chipset for power junkies on a budget, but other than that, no. Oh. And don't expect to SLI or CrossFire anything.
Crow47 Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Yeah, miniatx is meant for budget and smaller systems. The main difference you'll notice is the lower number of expansion slots. Actually, I think Abit or something is releasing a miniatx crossfire board. I dunno when it's going to be out, though.
