00stevo Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Hey everyone,i decided to update my bios one night and i bricked it.The board is currently on its way back to cclonline.I included a letter saying that id rather not have a replacement but instead would like a different board of the same value.Is it possible to do this? Its my first RMA. kitfit1 Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Under UK law, the retailer is not obliged to change it for anything other than the same again. In fact under UK law, the fact that you borked the bios means that the retailer/manufacturer can charge you for the repair to the bios.
