Dual Boot Xp & Vista Question

When I built my new PC, I wanted the stability of XP, but also wanted o test the waters of Vista as well, so I partitioned my hard drive and dual booted it. XP was installed first and then Vista.

When starting the system, and It gets to the OS choice screen, it's automatically on Vista unless I change it manually and hit enter. If I fire up the PC and go off to do something else, the PC will automatically go to Vista if I don't manually change it to XP.

Is there a way to set it so that XP would be the default unless I choose Vista?

get EasyBCD for vista, it does the work

:withstupid:

Great little program for toying with Vista's bootloader.

For the record, the one you're used to using in XP is not the same. Changing that won't help you.

Sorry this is no help to you, but this seems to be the perfect place to ask this, I too am thinking of dual booting xp + vista, I just want to ask of those that do how often do you use xp? less than Vista ,same or more?
