Andrewr05 Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 What is a ricer? I see this term used alot on car forums and just wondering what it meansSomeone who attempts to modify a Japanese import vehicle.(Many people still refer to people modifying domestic 4 cylinder vehicles such as the Dodge Neon and Chevy Cavalier as rice) Key word on attempt... A well done vehicle can be awesome... The term more refers to people morons who add body kits, neon lights, hood scoops, gauges and possibly an exhaust or cold air intake to their 4 cylinder vehicles and deem them worthy of racing... Common "ricers" deem a 4-8 INCH muffler to be acceptable on an exhaust with a diameter of 13/4 INCH. Common "ricers" think that adding 200+ pounds of accessories (body kit, huge exhaust, a plethora of gauges and wing/spoilers) to their cars will somehow increase the perforance. etc...
