Great_Gig Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) What happened They had a safety car out and most came into the pits too refuel. The pit lane lights were at Red stopping cars from re-joining the track until the Safety Car and main body of cars had passed the pitlane exit. 2 cars were waiting at the red light and Hamilton drove into the back of a Ferrari (Kimi R Edited June 8, 2008 by Great Gig
PeterStoba Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 surely he must have seen them, as the pit lanes are quite long on the exits, n00b.

You said it - he's got bags of talent, but has a lot to learn yet before he's a worthy World Champion. Really good to see Kubica win mind, especially after his accident there last year - any ghosts have been laid to rest I reckon? jammin Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Lewis certainly can't afford many silly mistakes like that if he's going to bag the championship this year. I'm liking how close things are this season. Much more exciting

Much more exciting He's certainly making some fundamental errors and his inexperience shows at times. China last year was dreadful and he can't afford to make many more, or Kimi will take it again. You are right though, makes for a more interesting season. I did enjoy the sparring last year with Alonso, so we need something to spice it up. I cannot wait for the slick tyre and no silly aerodynamics rules next year - should improve things?
slugbug Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) I couldn't believe he did that. What a noob Edited June 8, 2008 by slugbug
Great_Gig Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Well he's paying the price - just been on the news that hes been penalised 10 places at the next race. He needs a mentor i think? If only Ayrton was around.......

Yeah! there were some more rules too being introduced weren't there? Maybe not, not a close follower of racing
kingdingeling Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 If only Ayrton was around....... Amen to that brutha! What would a championship between Senna, Schumacher, Hamilton and Alonso look like? Holy crap that'd be a fight IMHO! I usually follow F1 relatively closely, but tonight was European Football Championship time Germany - Poland (2:0) FTW! B:)
