How Much Power Do I Need?

Im planning to build a pc with these specs Q9450 2.66ghz (will OC to 3.6 or maybe even 4.0), 780i mobo, a 9800gtx SSC 512 mb, a case with 6x 120mm fans, 3 HDD WD raptor x in RAID, zaleman 9700 120mm cooling fan or Scythe Zipang 139mm cooling fan, a avg. samsung burner, 24" LCD samsung monitor, and 4 GB RAM (2x 2GB).

i wonder how much power do i need( in WATTS) and which PSU will do the job?

I have been doing a bit of research into PSU's recently and decided on Corsair products for myself and bought 2, but there are a lot of good ones, really depends on your particular needs? I was going for the extended warranty, high build quality and stability at high loads, but most of all I wanted a quiet PSU. I'm sure you'll get some more pointers from the OCC forum too, they are a very helpful and knowledgeable community.

From a personal point a view, I feel you shouldn't skimp on the PSU. Spend as much as you think you can afford, then possibly add a little more! It may just pay dividends in the long run, as I found out. You may also consider some excess headroom held in reserve too. This could future proof you for dual cards etc, it won't put your PSU under too much stress if you want to overclock your system (many power calculators don't take OC into consideration) and it will run quieter if it's not working too hard. If you have a bit of room above your normal loads, you won't have to worry if you start to aggressively overclock your hardware.
