ironlynxtk Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Hey, im another diy-street member coming over here I plan on building a new rig with the following: DFI LP LT P35 T2R http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813136039 I have a Zalman CNPS 7700 working on my socket 939. will this clip work to convert it to 775? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835118219 I only ask because some of the reviews said it did not fit on certain motherboards. I do plan to OC my cpu (q6600), should I get a better heatsink? such as this: http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=FAN-9500A...b879300fda58d7b or am I better off saving my money and getting the CNPS7700 mounting bracket? CanadaGUY Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I think those quads heat up alot with OC'ing might be good to grab one of these Xigamatek HDT-S1284 or the Ultra-120 Extreme from Thermalright. (Can't find link to it on newegg just the regular 120) GL with the upgrading and OC
