Not The Typical Check Sum Error / C-1 Code And........................

Recommended Posts

I had the blue screen hit me and ever since, my pc will not run more than 2 gig and it's slow to boot (only thruogh bios) I had a screen come up that said boot block, and check sum error. Had to manually shutdown and work with it for a while I managed to get 2 gig to work but no more gets to the C-1 code and wont go futher if im trying to run 3 gig or more. Code reads 50 if I try to OC,and wont go farther. I lost my code book so I have no Idea. for the mean time Im using 2gig and works OK but not the same. My board Is an Abit IN9 32X MAX 680i SLi mobo zIve tried to up;oad specs on my PC but when it ask for a pic I messes up next time I'll try without a pic. And yes I'm running Vista 64bit Home Premium but this is the first time this has happen, Ive seen all the other stuff this is a knew one on me.
