damian Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 When i play games my 3850 will reach about 75C degrees on idle, and load. This even happens on old games such as quake 3. How can i decrease the temps, i tired downloading riva tuner to increase the fan speed but i dont think its compatible with windows vista 64bit. Its factory overclocked if that helps. any ideas? red930 Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 I'm using Riva Tuner 2.09 and Vista Ultimate. No problems adjusting the fan on my Asus 3870. I'm at 55% and my temps while playing Crysis don't exceed
Ricky C Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 mine is fine - it idles at about 50 but can get a bit toasty 65 -70 degress while playing games. As long as it dosen't overheat - it isnt an issue.
werty316 Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 You could always replace the TIM and use some quality stuff.
