Volcombmxer Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 ok yesterday i was installin a new cd drive and when i was all done i forgot to plug my heatsink back in and didnt know so i was playin my cs (best game ever) and i was like crap my comp is quite i dunno why.. well i had my comp in a bigger room so i thought o that must be it.... so anyway i i usually check my temp after im done playin games cause i just got a volcano 7+ and it said 81 CELCIUS!!!!!! i almost crapped my pance....but right away i knew what it was.... so i got a big giant fan u plug into a wall and stuck it in my case and plugged my heatsink back in and brought it back to 26........anyone else got any funny and dum stories o i wont feel so bad? DevilMB3017 Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 As I thought of this, I shouldn't laugh at this... I had my CPU running too hot one day, the surface temp was only 49, so I shut it off. I looked in BIOS before that first, and my CPU core temp was 102C, I.e. boiling.
